The session held on 19 November 2025 on “Contextualizing Liberal Arts in Higher Education,” led by Dr. Anam Muzamill, attracted a full audience. The discourse provided an in-depth examination of the essential components of a liberal arts education, its relevance to the global workforce, and the imperative of preparing learners to navigate complexity. Particular attention was given to the distinctive significance of liberal arts education within the South Asian context. The discussion was further enriched through participants’ engagement with F. M. Reimers’ 13-Step Global Citizenship Education Protocol, adding valuable breadth and depth to the session.
