Dr. Mehwish Raza joined the Department of Education in Fall 2019 as Assistant Professor of Education. She is an experienced professional within the global higher education sector and has led educational and research initiatives involving technology integration, digital citizenship, leadership development, and inclusive education.

Dr. Raza is an honored recipient of the prestigious Fulbright Scholars Award for postdoctoral research, HEC’s Overseas Scholarship for Ph.D in Education, and the Professional and Organizational Development (POD) Network’s DEI Grant. She has also served as the Country Head in Pakistan for a German thinktank, Konrad-Adenauer Stiftung.

Dr. Raza’s experience in academia has progressed across various leadership roles as Deputy Head of Center of Learning and Teaching, Dean of Faculty, and Head of Department. In her academic roles, she has taught within graduate and undergraduate programs and served on various university advisement committees.
