Three Block Model of UDL

the Center for Learning and Teaching (CLT) organized an engaging session titled “Enhancing Student Engagement through UDL & AI Integration,” led by expert Naomi Justin. The session explored how Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles, combined with artificial intelligence tools, can create more inclusive, engaging, and personalized learning experiences.

Participants gained insights into key dimensions of student engagement, practical applications of the Three Block Model of UDL, and effective strategies for designing AI prompts to generate lesson plans, quizzes, rubrics, and other teaching materials. The interactive discussion highlighted the transformative potential of UDL and AI in fostering equitable and innovative classroom practices.
